Overview
During this safari you will encouter diversity of wildlife, nature and culture & heritage of Uganda and it will leave you with life time memories.
The driver will pick you up from Entebbe and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park for a delightful Game Drive and a Boat Cruise after which you will transfer to Mgahinga National Park for Gorilla Tracking as well as engage in the Batwa Cultural Tour thereafter transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a Canoe Ride through the Bunyonyi Islands and transfer back to Entebbe.

DAY 1
PICK UP AND TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Our driver guide will pick you up from Entebbe upon arrival and you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Lake Mburo National Park is a compact gem, conveniently close to the highway that connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda. The park has 13 other lakes around the park with Lake Mburo being the largest. Passing through small towns along Kampala Masaka highway, you will make a stopover at the equator for an unforgettable photographic experience and you will arrive at the park in time for lunch. You will have lunch and take a rest from the long journey at Rwakobo Rock Lodge as you enjoy the park’s scenic views.

DAY 2
GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE (LAKE MBURO)
Today morning after breakfast, you will go on a morning game drive where you might stumble across a number of wildlife species like impalas, oribis, buffaloes, elands and zebras. Then return to the lodge for refreshments and lunch. After lunch and short relaxation, you will be driven to the lake to meet your captain of the day who will take you on a two hour boat excursion. Lake Mburo boat cruise gives you an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, watch water birds such as the African fish eagle and the rare African fin foot return to Rwakobo Rock Lodge for dinner and relaxation.

DAY 3
TRANSFER TO MGAHINGA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mgahinga National Park in Southwestern Uganda. Enjoy the journey as go through towns like Mbarara, Ntungamo, Kabale then Kisoro.
It is an extremely thrilling one as you go through the lowlands, rolling and terraced hills of Kabale and Kisoro making these districts the “Switzerland of Uganda” and the “Pearl” of the Pearl of Africa respectively.
Lunch will be served en-route and you will arrive in time at Travelers Rest Hotel for an overnight stay and dinner and refreshments.

DAY 4
GORILLA TREKKING
After an early breakfast, our driver will drive you to Mgahinga National Park headquarters arriving in time for briefing.
You will be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gentle giants then proceed to the forest for the trek. You will be led by an UWA guide into to the forest to search for the gorillas.
Mgahinga National Park has only one habituated mountain gorilla family called Nyakagezi which used to move between Rwanda Volcanoes National Park and Mgahinga National Park but it now permanently resides in Uganda.
Once you find the Nyakagezi family, you will be allowed one hour with the gorillas’ then return to Travelers Rest Hotel for refreshments, relation and overnight stay.

DAY 5
BATWA CULTURAL TOUR AND TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI
Today after an early morning breakfast, you will visit the famous Batwa and know more about their culture as you get entertained and involved in their traditional dance and other practices.
You will have lunch and then head out to Lake Bunyonyi which happens to be Uganda’s deepest Crater Lake. It is here that you will enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful lake spotted with 29 islands each with its rich history.
You will check in at Lake Bunyonyi Overland Resort, Light a campfire, have dinner and an overnight.
Main Destination: Lake Bunyonyi.

DAY 6
CANOE RIDE/ISLAND TOUR
After an early morning breakfast, take a canoe ride around the islands and visit the Punishment and Adventure Island.
The punishment island is that where the women that got pregnant before marriage were dumped while the adventure island is that where you will be able to engage in sports activities like zip lining, high ropes and biking.
After enjoying this fruitful day, you will head back to the accommodation for your dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7
TRANSFER BACK TO ENTEBBE
After an early morning breakfast you will check out the accommodation, our driver guide will drive you back to Entebbe and drop you off at the hotel where you will be accommodated for your overnight stay at Lake Victoria Hotel.
You will an en route lunch.
