On this day, wake up and have some breakfast in the morning. Then after, explore Kigali with visits to historical sites, art galleries, and cultural centers. Take a short city tour to visit local markets, the Kigali Genocide Memorial, and enjoy Rwandan cuisine in a local restaurant). Afternoon check out the hotel, depart for Akagera National Park, which is a drive of approximately 2.5 hours, while enjoying the beautiful scenic views en route. Akagera National Park lies in eastern Rwanda, hugging the border with Tanzania. It's characterized by woodland, swamps, low mountains and Savannah. The varied terrain shelters wildlife including zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions and hundreds of bird species, such as the rare shoe-bill stork. In the southern part of the park, vast Lake Ihema is home to hippos and crocodiles. Evening, check-in at the lodge, relax, refresh and have dinner and overnight stay. Have breakfast in the morning, after head for an early morning game drive to spot the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. (lions and rhinos are occasional). The park is also home to giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species, & vast of vegetation covers. Afternoon, have some lunch break, then after enjoy a boat safari on Lake Ihema, where you'll see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species along the shores. Then in the evening, return to the lodge for relaxation, refresh and dinner, overnight stay. Main Destination: Akagera National Park. Accommodation: Akagera Rhino Lodge. Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a final short game drive as you exit Akagera. Afternoon, check out the lodge, driver guide will transfer to Volcanoes National Park in the northwest, a journey of around 5-6 hours through scenic Rwandan countryside. Arrive in the evening, check in at the booked lodge near the park, where you will relax and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trek experience. Main Destination: Volcanoes National Park. Wake up and have an early morning breakfast, Begin your gorilla trekking adventure with a briefing at the park headquarters by the ranger guides. Then after, trek through the misty forests, guided by park rangers, until you encounter one of the gorilla families, stop and learn about their behaviors and way of living. Later on, return to the lodge for refreshments, relax, and have lunch break. Afternoon, after lunch, visit the nearby Iby'Iwacu Cultural Village to learn about Rwandan traditions and enjoy cultural performances. Evening hours, return to the loge for relaxation and dinner. Main Destination: Volcanoes National Park. Accommodation: Isange Paradise Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner. Drinks: water.

On this last day of your 6 day adventure in Rwanda, you will have morning breakfast, then afternoon transfer back to Kigali, with stops at local craft markets for souvenir shopping, later dropped at the Airport for a departure flight back home (Depending on your flight schedule) Optional activities, golden monkey trekking in the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park, which offers a different perspective of Rwanda's primates. or head to Uganda for Gorilla tracking / Habituation in Bwindi or Mgahinga or visit Kibale forest National park for Chimpanzee tracking.
