The tour is possible year-round, but peak birding often occurs in the green (wet) seasons when migratory and resident birds are more active. That said, the dry seasons (June–August, December–February) offer easier travel and wildlife visibility.
The tour includes nature walks, a canoe excursion in Mabamba Wetlands, game drives, and a few moderate hikes (e.g., to the Top of the Falls). However, there's also a full day of relaxation (Day 6) to rest or do lighter activities. You don’t need to be an expert hiker, but you should be reasonably mobile and prepared for early mornings.
You will have a professional English-speaking safari guide experienced in birding and wildlife. Your guide will provide daily briefings, identify bird and animal species, help with photography, and handle logistics. You will have a professional English-speaking safari guide experienced in birding and wildlife.
